10 Mar The Winners of the Reykjavik Bar Summit 2015
On the last night of Reykjavik Bar Summit we had a dinner at Vox Club, Hilton Reykjavik Nordica.
Ásgeir Már Björnsson and Birgir Guðmundsson said a few words on behalf of the Reykjavik Bar Summit team to thank all the bar teams, sponsors and volunteers.
Afterwards the first ever winners of Reykjavik Bar Summit 2015 were announced.
The judges were Stanislav Vadrna, brand ambassador of Nikka and founder of Analog Bartending Institute, Dan Priseman of Bitters & Twisted and brand ambassador of Four Roses, Saga Garðarsdóttir, Icelandic actress and comedian and Ólafur Örn Ólafsson, former president of the Icelandic Sommeliers Association and founder of Foss distillery.
First we announced the American team won The Battle of Continents
Dutch Kills from New York won the public votes their favorite bar team
Dutch Kills also won the best presentation and performance
The Worship Street Whistling Shop from London, won the best Martinez
The Broken Shaker from Miami, won the best Daiquiri
Employees Only from New York, won the best Mystery Box
Then Stanislav Vadrna the head of the judges announced

Strøm from Copenhagen
Jonas B Andersen and Mikael Nilson from Strøm received the great trophy; a real stuffed puffin.
